Know Pete

Pete Wucetich is a trial lawyer with more than two decades of experience. He has first-chaired jury trials, court trials, and binding arbitrations in a broad spectrum of matters, and participated in numerous mediations. Pete has appeared in state and federal courts hundreds of times, including leading a class action from trial through appeal and arguing before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit.

His practice areas have ranged from breaches of fiduciary duty, constitutional torts, discrimination and harassment, fraud, trade-secret misappropriation, wage and hour actions, unfair-competition disputes to even a criminal matter relating to the poaching of a federally protected golden eagle. He advises clients on employee-mobility issues, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, and the protection and assignment of intellectual property developed during employment.

During his time as an attorney in the private sector, he worked in firms ranging from large international law firms to boutiques. In the public sector, he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and Deputy Attorney General. While serving in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he was the head of employment law for the District of Idaho as well as the co-head of bankruptcy. While serving the Department of Justice, he was afforded the privilege of representing federal judges, agents, and agencies. He also served on the leadership committee for many years.

Time spent in both sectors allowed him to gain deep insights into business, governmental, and judicial decision-making.
